What I mean is that the Qb can only do so much. once the WR catches it, the play beyond on that is in the hands of the WR. This was what both Rice and TO did perfectly. He said it was because of his QB, well the QB didnt burn the Linebackers and out play the DB's after 5-10 yards.
The QB is every bit as responsible as the receiver is for YAC. The position they put the receiver in is every bit as important as the receivers skill in determining YAC. Bad position makes elusiveness irrelevant.
