Aaron Donald expected tear up the combine. He now weighs 290. I'd love for him to rotate at the nose and at the 5 on our line.

Very underrated due to being 6'1 and under 300. He's unblockable at times.

So far these people are winning the combine:

Brandin Cooks (1 inch shorter, 3 pounds less & bigger hands than Marqise Lee).

Jonny Manziel (almost 6'0 & huge hands; it's Russell Wilson all over again; I may have to change my mind about him).

Sammy Watkins - 6'06 211 is a great size for him.

Are they gonna measure arm length on the WRs today?

Odell Beckham with huge hands for a guy his size (10'') Decent size too at 5'11 198.

And Jordan Matthews has some monster hands at 10' 3/8. 6'3 212 too. Yikes!

If Matthews has good speed numbers he'll be a first rounder for sure, and Clyde will have to tell me he told me so.

Man, Beckham is killin the measurment part. A slot/return guy with long arms and huge hands. If he kills the drills he's going to create lots of 1st round buzz

Odell Beckham is coming up roses today. Good measurements for him all around.
So is Jordan Matthews.
Mike Evans is looking like an absolute monster, but everyone knew that. Speed #'s will be the key for him.
More bad news for Marqise Lee. I'm getting ready to jump ship.
Jarvis Landry's not making any money today either.
Brandin Cooks could've made some money w/ a good arm measurement, but he has tiny arms. Tiny everything really.
Solid day for my guy Donte Moncrief. Everything checks out. Height, weight & arm length. Only hand size left to be desired.

Sammy Watkins will go in the top 10, so I think he's out of the question.

We'll have a better idea soon when the WRs run, but right now Odell Beckham, Jordan Matthews, & Donte Moncrief are looking pretty good. I still like Marqise Lee but not as much as I did before his measurements. Brandin Cooks could be a popular guy to pick too.

Some people love Mike Evans & Kelvin Benjamin, but I don't.

but isn't this the classic decision making based on measurables? what about game film?

if a WR runs 4.3 he shoots up, if his hands are small, he goes down?

not a big deal, just asking....

Everything matters to me. I don't ignore any factors. So yeah if he has big hands that's a plus. If he has long arms that's a plus. A 40 time doesn't mean anything unless you're also considering his weight. Etc.

Of course the film is the most important thing, but it doesn't always show everything you want to know about a guy.

Combine results help determine where teams might value a certain player. I'd love to sit here and say they all go based off of film but we know that isn't true. So if you like a player and he goes and blows up at the combine you gotta assume you will need to take him sooner or move up for him.
