For a Seahawks fan, doubt it was boring.

For a Sherman and Lynch fan, like myself, I enjoyed it and glad they both have a ring now!

The best part of ANY Super Bowl for me is the day after when I know the sports I care more about won't be overshadowed the rest of the winter by what ought to be called "Gridball" or "Gridiron" because so few of it's players
ever even touch the ball with their feet. Or any other body part barring potentially disastrous accident.

The NFL is preferable to the farcical WWE but that's all. At least it is a legitimate sport rather than a pseudo-sport.

Hawks fans need not post in this thread. We know how you all feel about it. As someone who's seen them all I'd put this in the bottom 10. There have been several where the game was a forgone conclusion early. This was one of them. It's hard to distinguish between them when they get that bad. It's like whose shit smells the worst. Meh, grew up in a DC burb a Skins fan. Season tix 65-72. Moved to MI, but stayed primarily a Skins fan through about 91. Became a Lions fan after Barry came to town against my better judgement. So I've had a bit more experience with my teams in the SB than any Hawks fans. But thanks for your concern.

Hell I loved watching the Skins roll the Broncos in 88 but I can acknowledge it was a shitty game. The Broncos just fell apart completely. That one was over by halftime too. They happen. They used to happen a lot. We've been fairly lucky in recent years to see some good ones.

They are touchy but I'm not putting too much stock in someone with 25 posts who bumped this thread. I'm 99% sure he's trolling, but the idea that someone who has watched every Super Bowl ever played wouldn't be able to recognize a good game unless his team has won one is pretty funny regardless.

As far as the Redskins vs Broncos game that you mentioned, I don't remember if I was in high school or junior high school, but I do remember getting together with friends to watch that game and leaving at halftime to walk to an arcade... and we were all pretty big football fans.

Lol, the game had high approval ratings in both the northwestern and northeastern (New England) states. Outside of that, not so much. If the Packers win the Super Bowl next year, I hope it's viewed as boring everywhere outside of Wisconsin.

I've always hated blowouts in the SB but this time I certainly enjoyed it when it was my team dishing out the punishment. I can definitely appreciate anyone without a dog in the fight being bored with that game though, it was over by halftime.

I'll stand by my opinion that this was the worst ever, but it is close. The Cowboys - Bill the first time comes to mind as does the SB with the '85 Bears and 49er's vs. Chargers.

Some things are just meant to be, the SB started as the match between the NFL and AFL, and it should remain so. Often the Conference finals are the best games, the Hawks Niners and Denver Pats games this year were much better than the SB, that's just how it rolls.
