Worst Superbowl Ever?

I kind of thought this game might be close Harold, but then I also thought we could see a Seattle domination.

Scorpion, I've been waiting for this day since Seattle first got a team It finally happened.

This Superbowl was not exciting at all. Unless you're a Seahawks fan you're disappointed. Even the commercials were mediocre.

What sucked the most was that it was some really bad and unfortunate plays in the beginning by Denver that made it so one sided. From there, they could never be multi-dimensional on offense which would of helped their offense be the potent one that it was throughout the season.

That said, Denver has no one to blame but themselves. To have a snap for a safety on the first play of the game, an overthrow on an open receiver for an easy INT and then another INT for TD on a deflected ball where Moreno is right there to knock it down and does nothing to prevent what happened... it all added up to 22-0 at halftime. You can't make game changing mistakes like that in the Superbowl and expect to even be close to the other team.

this was not the worst sb game ever. back when the nfc dominated the afc every year, we all knew the nfc team was going to blow out the afc team (double digit favorites basically every year) and that's exactly what happened. THOSE were some boring SB's.

What he means is that #1 and #2 are not in different conferences every year. The two best teams this year were Seattle and San Fransisco. But only one could make the SB. Sometimes the AFC produces the best two teams etc.

I was not debating the history of AFC vs NFC I'm thinking about preventing this type of game where the disparity is so drastic in terms of AFC vs NFC to avoid an embarrassing game as we had yesterday. The real SB was 2 weeks ago. Inter-league postseason would greatly diminish the probability of having another game similar to this.

The thing is, on paper there wasn't much of a disparity at all. Did anyone really see a rout happening before the game?
In retrospect it's easy to say the NFCCG was the real Super Bowl (it was) but up until game time no one saw the Seahawks as the dominate team.

We could completely redo the playoff structure and blowouts would still happen from time to time.
