If it wasn't for Stern, the Spurs would've been in the 2004 Finals against the Pistons. Fisher's shot was late as shit.

May Stern burn in hell for what he has let the NBA become, the officiating shenanigans, & for the 2007 western conference semi-finals.
This really depends on what you want and expect out of a commissioner, if equality of players and integrity of competition or an accountability for actions is something you find important then Stern failed miserably.
If making money is your number 1 concern, he is the best.
I mean, both claims are EASY to prove!
Well, he did a fine job of promoting the big market teams and making sure the right people were in and won the playoffs. Frankly, the league might have folded had he not.
My question? Is it time to let the players decide the outcomes? Things seem on a pretty firm footing. Let us hope so.
Probably my all time fave was the folded envelope that allowed De Butcher to send Ewing to the Knicks. Never liked that guy much anyway.
I think I speak for a lot of Lakers fans when I say: FUCK YOU!!!
Thanks for the Chris Paul veto!

Aren't you going to thank Stern for letting the Lakers trade Kwame for Pau?
