You sure about that? My source shows OU with the most 10 wins seasons and 11 win seasons...

Yep, I think you are right.

Alabama: 34
Oklahoma: 35

Oh well, take that one off I guess. Even though Oklahoma has been playing 10 game seasons for longer and has 1 before Alabama even played a 10 game season. You do have 1 more.

AJ McCarron blames Alabama’s failures on Alabama’s past success

Alabama’s success led to an unavoidable letdown for the Crimson Tide in 2013, according to former quarterback AJ McCarron. In a radio interview Thursday McCarron suggested Alabama’s championship success the past few years led to younger players thinking they could take the field and win whenever they wanted.

“We had a lot of young guys,” McCarron told The Jim Rome Show on Thursday at the Super Bowl’s radio row. “In the end, success was our killer. Too much success and a lot of young guys coming in who didn’t know what it took to get back to that point to win. They thought we’d just show up and we’d win.”

After winning two straight BCS championships, Alabama head coach Nick Saban expressed concern over his team getting too comfortable with the championship expectations in 2014. The Crimson Tide were the preseason number one and held on to the top spot in the polls for 11 games before losing to Auburn on a walk-off missed field goal returned for a touchdown. Alabama went on to lose to Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl, with five turnovers directly leading to 35 points for Oklahoma. The two-game losing streak for Alabama came out of nowhere, but it was not something McCarron was totally stunned by.

“Myself and CJ Mosley, we were basically the two leaders of the team and we felt like it was a matter of time before it was coming,” McCarron told Rome. “It’s definitely tough to lose, but it kind of shows when you don’t have everyone buy into one system, one belief, then sometimes a team is going struggle.”

Is McCarron throwing his team under the bus? McCarron accepted the blame for Alabama’s Sugar Bowl loss in the postgame press conference at the time, but his more recent comments may shed some more truth than anything McCarron has said before. McCarron also took swipes at various recruiting services, who McCarron labeled as guys who never played football.

“You have guys who have never played the game of football rating these guys that they are a 5-star, because they’re sitting behind a computer screen watching their highlight film. Well, their highlight film is supposed to be good, the last time I checked. That’s the kind of thing that ticks me off about recruiting and when these kids come in, and they’re 5-stars and they expect to play right off the bat. It’s a little entitlement and when they don’t play off the bat, they get a little ticked off and they don’t want to work.”

No specific order.

1. 84 Iron bowl.
1984 Iron Bowl - Wrong Way Bo - Alabama vs. Auburn - YouTube

2. 92 beating Miami in a game we supposedly didn't even belong in.

3. Most: Bowl Apperances, Bowl Wins, National Championships, undefeated seasons, 10 win seasons(many of which came before 12-14 games a year).

4. 09 championship - finally over the dark ages.

5. 11 and 12 championships, 3 outta the last 4(now 5) making it a dynasty.

The "Go This Way Bo------------>" game was extra sweet. I watched it with about 15 frat boys, all Auburn fans but one. One of them was being a real doosh right before that play. I chimed in, "Aw shut up boy. Y'all ain't scored yet." After the game the dude went into the back yard and balled his eyes out.

1. Capping off a 13 and 0 season with the flea flicker, half back option pass, and then statue of liberty in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl to beat OU.

2. Capping off a 14 and 0 season with a brilliant, unexpected defensive scheme and a fake punt deep in their own territory in the 4th quarter that ended up resulting in the game winning touchdown by Doug Martin to beat then #3 TCU in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl.

3. Finishing in the top 15 nine times from 2002 to 2012 with several top 5 and top 10 finishes included in there as well.

4. He had a ton of talent around him and 44 of his 50 wins came against outmanned and unranked teams but Kellen Moore.

5. Chris Petersen.

Mine,

1. Going undefeated in the regular season and making it to a NATTY which was inconceivable for most of the Duck Nation.

2. Reeling off 4 straight BCS games. Including the Ducks first Rose Bowl victory in nearly 100 years.:yahoo:

3. The PICK. Kenny Wheaton interception in the 1994 Fusky vs Ducks game. This win propelled Oregon to a Rose Bowl that was so far off the radar not even the most hardened Duck fan saw it coming. Many attribute that one play to the Ducks domination in the rivalry. Since that game Oregon is 17-5 vs UW.

4. The fact that Oregon has 6 NFL HOFers. Impressive considering only a handful of blue bloods have more.

5. Owning a winning record (decisive in most cases) over all PAC teams since the BCS Era. Including a winning record vs one of the best programs of all time and the BCS era in USC.

So they're 17-5 in 19 seasons?

all their major accomplishments happened before I was old enough to know what was going on. 2012 was a Cinderella yr where everything went their way but they really weren't that great

1. Putting southern football on the map with the 1926 Rose Bowl. The start of a 4-1-1 record 1926-1946. It was the 1st Rose Bowl to be broadcast on the radio. Bama still has more Rose Bowl appearances and wins than most Pac/B1G teams, despite being locked out of the game going on 70 years.

2. The 1946 Rose Bowl. Bama 34 USC 14. The game that pissed the west coast off so bad that they took their ball and ran home and tied-in with the B1G just so they could win one. A non-Pac/B1G team would not play in the game again until the 2002 BCSCG, Miami vs Nebraska.

3. The Bear Bryant years.

4. Shutting Miami up in the 1992 championship game. One of the best defenses I've ever seen and the only defense I've ever seen play an 11 man line of scrimmage and dare a Heisman winning QB to throw the ball.

5. The Saban years.
