Wilson is NOT a game manager ffs. He does exactly what he is asked to do. When he has been called on to pass a lot he has done so and done well with it. However he exists on a team that runs and only asks him to do minimal passing. Why? Probably a combination of not wanting to put too much on him, but mostly they want a conservative play style meant to minimize turnovers. You know, OLD SCHOOL FOOTBALL.

I can't wait for you to tell me for the 10th time I've said something about Wilson vs Tarkenton that I didn't say. It seems inevitable as you can't freaking understand the written word.

He's been much more then a game manager. When points were needed, he got them. That's behind a OL that had as many as three starters out during a good portion of the year. That's behind a OL when healthy is better at run blocking then pass blocking. That's without a true #1 receiver playing.

* Not all INTs should be on the heads of the QB's if it was a WR that tipped it or it came in desperate garbage time so even those need more research before holding onto them.
** Even pop warner kids know WR's can drop balls thrown right at them so that stat has some element of things beyond a QB's control as well.

There is a difference between saying he isn't the top QB in the league and saying he is a game manager. They are not related. Tom Brady was a game manager on his first SB run. I dont necessarily disagree that Wilson is a game manager right now, that term always coincides with winning. Nothing wrong with taking pressure off your young QB, that should be the goal of every team. Bill Walsh said, "The purpose of a team is to take as much pressure of the QB as possible, Just give me a guy that throws a catchable ball." Wilson has been impressive to this point, and the future is bright.

You have it right Harold. She is obviously trolling. I've told her I haven't compared him to Tarkenton 6 times and she keeps on saying I am. I said he isn't one of the top QB's and then says again I should keep on saying it. I've told her all stats are relative and really can't be used alone to compare QB's and then says I'm using stats to make a point.

Over and over and over again she puts words in my mouth and refuses to back them up with quotes or facts.

It is clear her hate runs deep to the point where she will desperately create stuff to fuel it.
