Let me be the first to say I don't think Harbaugh is a thug or wannabe thug.

I dont think a sweatshirt tucked into khakis is very thug like either but what do I know

You totally misunderstand my point, and I don't hate Seattle, and you calling me ignorant is laughable. Let me try again, my point is that if Harbaugh were the Seahawks coach and Carroll were the 49ers coach Seattle fans would love Harbaugh because he wins and would hate Carroll because he wins for the rival team and would manufacture reasons to do so. I never said one bad word about Carroll and I won't, because he's a great coach, I'm just saying that as fans you hate your rival then backfill the reasons for it.

And if the 49rs drafted Sherman you guy's would be LOVING his competitive attitude and smack talking… lol … It's kinda the way it is for us sports fans… WE always try to see the glass half full … But in all honesty Harbaugh has proven he's a good coach… I hate the way he cry's on the sideline but he's a good coach…

No, and you totally missed my point. We have had coaches we didn't respect that won here before and it didn't prevent us from telling it like it was. As I already said Rick Neuheisel won a Rose bowl and had us highly ranked and we all still called him slick rick, rick new weasel, or ricky sweater vest. If you don't know that you don't know Seattle sports. We don't simply forgive because of winning, although it is always the case everywhere that winning will quiet down the worst of it.

You didn't answer the question of just what are we supposed to hate about Carroll to begin with? What is there about his personality or how he runs his team that we should be embarrassed or outraged about?

You know Seattle do you? Well did you know they play Harbaughs bi-weekly radio show up here in its entirety because it's always so damned funny? I mean we get why he only has one every other game. He can't put two words together with saying uhh and uhh we uhh uhh uhh. His quotes are regular clips played all over up here because they are funny.

Carroll? We call him the mumbler because he gives answers but has a way of doing it under his breath and you can't always make out what he is really saying. And yes, we make fun of that too.

That's the point. We pick on your HC because there is something worth picking on, not because he is your HC. Who else in the NFL gives better material to work with? And Carroll? Have you not read us complaining about the PED's and what it keeps doing to derail this team? He has been heavily criticized, not given a free pass because he's our guy. Our offense? I blame him while some of our folks blame our OC, but no one just ignores it.

Your base complains about our guys doing things then gives your guys a free pass for stuff that is equally as douchey. That's the point.

Smith? Hardly a word, but Lynch gets a DUI? Oh man did we hear about it.

both bases add to it because of the rivalry. There is no doubt about that. But for you to say it would be the exact same thing if we had douche bag and you had Carroll? Are you fucking high?

Ok, that's kind of what I'm saying, there's stuff to mock about both coaches, but when the fans are yapping at each other they forget that. As for the Smith v. Lynch treatment -- you weren't on the 49er board when Smith had all his troubles, he got a lot of flack and justifiably so, but some of the people coming onto your board about that were just trolling. Believe me, Smith got raked over the coals for his behavior.

If Harbaugh were with Seattle and had just gone into his 3rd NFC Championship in his 3rd year, Seahawk fans would love him. Fact.

Wrong. We wouldn't try to run him out of town, but we would 100% be complaining about his antics. Just as we have with every other coach that come before him. That's what separates our two bases. We can, and do make fun of our own and criticize them while you point at others and give entirely free passes.

Nice try, but your trolling won't work here. We have facts to back us up while you have hyperbole.

Name a coach that was a winner in your town that was still heavily criticized. We already have.

See, that's where you're wrong, somehow saying that one fan base is better or more objective than another. I just told you we didn't give Smith a free pass and we didn't, some people were saying they didn't like Harbaugh's antics, plenty of people on the 49er board slammed Kaepernick over the Dolphin cap and other things. The 49er fans are no more likely to give "free passes" than Seahawk fans are, that's just ridiculous.

And strangely enough, if you're talking about 49ers coaches, we hadn't had a winning coach in a while before Harbaugh -- go back to Mooch, and he didn't have "antics".

I love how most SF fans say the 12's is gay, stupid, belongs to aTm, dumbest thing they've ever heard, etc and then tell us if we had harbs we would embrace him and his douche bag reputation around the league with open arms.

Not one of you would have issue with the 12's if it was your city using it. Or maybe the SF seattle expert disagrees? lol :L

I've honestly never heard a 49er fan say that. Either I'm not paying attention or you were paying too much attention to Breaker99.

You don't go to game day threads on the general board do you? Trust me, I don't base anything about your fans on what that idiot said. I'm glad he is perm banned now. It was LOOOOOONG overdue. And I know many of your fans are happy that asshat is never coming back as well.

I mean we Seahawk fans get to see the end of the worst troll on the board and win the conference title all in the same week. Life is good isn't it?

Nah. Not very much.

Critiquing the fan stuff just seems like sour grapes to me. Legion of Boom is a pretty cool nickname. So was the Steel Curtain. Merton Hanks' chicken dance was the shit. So was Ken Norton Jr. punching the goal post on a score. And Deion's dance of course (that '94 49ers defense was the all-TD-celebration D).

I'll give credit where credit's due. The 12th man thing is legit 'cause Seattle is loud. The "Who's got it better than us" thing is great as long as the Niners are winning (if not it doesn't really work). I'll only say something is lame if it's legitimately lame like Joe Horn's Cell phone cell-ebration or every TD dance Steve Smith ever did.

The Dirty Bird was pretty meh. So was Terrell Davis' salute. But the Packers' jump in the stands has lasted for a reason. Despite John Kuhn's attempt to kill it:

But what about all of Steve Smith's 5 yard reception dances? Those are cool, right?

Yeah, TO's nonsense was lame and I can think of a few others, but most of it is entertaining and harmless so it doesn't bug me.

I didn't hate SF until Walsh was involved in pushing the Pac to nearly give the death penalty to UW football and then went back to SF. I always liked Montana and had no issues with anything SF until after that point. That ass hole couldn't beat UW so he decided to push to kill the program instead. You'd hate someone who did that to your school too I'm sure.
