You know shit aint broke why are they breaking it?
Excess demand for NFL playoff football? I don't like the idea, but I'm sure I'll watch the extra games if they are added.

What demand? From the responses I have read in this post not to many are demanding it.

The NFL currently has the best combo of regular season and playoff formats of any sport.

I'd argue MLB. I think their playoff format is perfect.
The game that I loved is slowly losing what it was :frown:
Agreed. In my opinion, however, the league could even improve the quality of what it sells by eliminating games in London and Thursday night games. That's obviously not going to happen, though, since it would reduce profit. Seems to me that adding extra playoff games, if that happens, is solely aimed at increasing profit.

It's changing and fans will complain about the changes. How many fans will stop watching the games, though?
I can't stop watching because I love the game too much.

Exactly. And the league knows that there are millions of other just like you, with more on the way.
I like the idea of only allowing teams to play on thursday if they are coming off of a bye week. There were WAY too many injuries in those thursday games
