Not so fast Oh bearded one, you might remember how last year looked with us losing 3 of the last 4 games and had to go into Denver and play the #1 seed (no chance they said).
Then go into NE and play the #2 seed (no chance they said).
Then in the SB against the media darling favorite 49rs that we ultimately turned in the 40 whiners...
I like our chances !!!! just sayin'

It always gives 'em pause, remembering that there's a Lombardi in Baltimore, which oughta be in Cleveland.

Apologies but I don't see how what Modell did was any better. He moved a team the city wanted to keep because he couldn't get a new stadium. Even after a new one was approved, he still moved them.

He moved 'em because the city wasn't moving fast enough to meet his demands...

...and because Baltimore offered him a shitload of money, which he needed badly, after mismanaging the team for decades. And he managed to squander that money in just a few years...ended up selling, leaving his brain-dead kid with just a 1% interest.

And lest we forget, he was secretly negotiating with Baltimore, while assuring the public that the Browns were not going anywhere. Ironic that Baltimore would have anything to do with such a scummy transaction, after what was done to them (i.e.: the Colts).

This is why people worked so hard to keep Modell's loathsome ass out of the Hall of Fame for as long as he lived. May he roast in Hell, right next to Steinbrenner.
