You can be anything
Something wrong with the team chemistry and Rose.
Glorified two guard that can't shoot very well. Would rather have Nate Robinson offensively.
Dude desperately needs to learn how to distribute the ball.
Lol!
Rose is overrated. Fact.
4 assists. Impressive for a two guard.
He shot well from 3 tonight, I'll give him that.
That's because he was givin' wide open, uncontested looks. The D was more concerned with the other Chicago starters.4 assists. Impressive for a two guard.

Please quote where I said I would rather have Robinson as a player. I said I would rather have him on one side of the ball. Outside of driving the lane and free throws, Robinson is more skilled on the offensive end. Give Rose Robinson's skill set on the offensive end and teach him how to distribute the fucking ball and he would be a much better player.
Clearly Rose has a higher ceiling on offense if he ever decides to put some serious work into his jumper.
Definitely better:
Paul
Rondo
Westbrook
Parker
Curry
Would consider letting these players run my team at the point over Rose:
Irving
Rubio
Wall
Lillard
Bledsoe
Holliday
Teague
I want 5 very specific traits I want out of a point guard: efficient, distributor, defense, shooter, slasher
in that order.
Rose doesn't fit my criteria to my expectations on half of those give or take efficiency depending on the night.
Anyone who says they would rather have Nate Robinson over Rose PERIOD, in ANY facet of the game, needs to follow another sport.
And BTW... in his last two -2- seasons Rose finished Top 10 in Assists. So here's $100... go buy yourself a clue.

How many turnovers for Rose in his last 2 games...?
That's a pretty important stat for a point guard......No...?

No question...
I mean, this Hater brings up Efficiency and THEN he says Westbrook is better than Rose.
ROFLMAO
a) in his last season he didn't qualify with his 39 games played
b) in the season before that I had to go down to a point forward in Lebron to find a lower asst/to avg with players that were ranked at the top of the assist rankings
c) if you have the ball in your greater than 50% of the time you should easily average a lot of assists
d) why is a "top 3" point guard unable to shoot from outside consistently or do better than 10th in assists with players like Devin fucking Harris hot on his heels? Top 33%(starters) in assists for a top flight point guard is nothing special.
e) he was 10th in assists, but 8th in turnovers
f) 1.9 assists per turnover is nothing special for a point guard
If you're a Chicago homer, I understand why you are propping up D Rose as I see sad homers doing it on every message board I read. Unfortunately, that would put you in the same group of people as morons that think he is somehow better than Chris Paul.
I have a couple of questions for you. Feel free to call me stupid and tell me I should follow another sport instead of answering.
If thirty players at a position have comparable minutes, and roughly 1/3 of those players have better stats at arguably the most important stat for said position, is that elite?
Two players play with a group of players, with over half of those players on each player's team being the same player(i.e. both play with the same center, power forward, small forward, and a bench constructed of the same players for the most part).
Player A per 36
18.6 pts
43.3% fg
40.5% 3pt
79.9% ft
3.2 boards
6.5 assists
2.5 turnovers
.2 blocks
1.5 steals
Player B per 36
24.1 points
44.5%
33.2% 2pt
85.8% ft
3.9 boards
7.4 assists
3.3 turnovers
.6 blocks
1 steal
Is player B, based strictly on the numbers above, worth 15 times the amount of player A, or would you accept player A and use the rest of your limited salary limit on other players that could help your team?
