I agree for the most part and feel your pain. But the Vikes have a tendency to keep it close and give you hope that they might actually win. And then they blow it. So much fun being a Vikes fan...

well that is probably the best scenario at this point because this season is over and we mine as well stay in contention for the #1 pick

There is no excuse acceptable for the skins losing this game. I'm not giving credence to the whole "trap game" baloney. This team knows it has little margin for error. They know they HAVE to win this game. They are not going to just "show up" and expect to win. I don't see that as the character of this team at all.

Now, AP is truly someone to be concerned about. He must be neutralized and we've done a good job with that in the recent past. With few other playmakers on their offense, it will be much easier to cover than some of the high powered offenses we've already faced this season. Not sure who their TE or top WR is (Jennings? Says something about their play this year...) I'd be most concerned about their TE burning us, as that is where we've shown the most weakness so far this year. Hope the focus is not only on stopping AP.

I want to see a complete game for once, with STs finally stepping up and at least being decent. Not asking for miracles but this ST is really amazing with how they come up with new and unusual ways to torture us. Unbelievable.

I take it you are not optimistic about our chances in this game. I think this team is finally on the right track. Still many things to improve on (especially STs) but im seeing little things beginning to click all over.

Of course we need our best game, we need that every week. Do you think they won't bring it?

the pass rush better show up and so had the tackling or else we will lose

we havent won back to back games all year nor have we put together a complete game

I'm actually most concerned about STs right now. Back to back wins come with better execution in all phases. While I do agree there has been multiple steps forward and backwards in all aspects of our game, I feel we are trending better in a lot of the little things.

i have seen this from our fan base before . they predict a big win (i.e. philly game one ) then when we fall short of expectations we go through a whole week of fire shanahan , bench Rg3 Rak is a bust play calling sucks and fire haslett

wash , rinse and repeat

i have us winning by 3 points or less ? why ? short week , big let down from a big win and a fan base whose expectations are through the roof

we are 3-5 . we havent won back to back games all year long . we havent proven on the field that we deserve any hype whatsoever .

yet we have polls asking if we will win by 10 points or more instead of just being happy with a win that puts us a step closer to being a contender

the vikings arent going to simply lay down and hand us the game is all i am saying

Dad I'm not seeing arrogance at all. I'm not sure what the line is and I'm to lazy to look it up but this team can lose to anyone in the league especially on the road.i think most people who aren't dolts realize this team isn't playing as well as we'd hoped but the Vikings are beatable. Ponder is who he is and Rudolph is out. Run the ball and don't turn it over the skins should be ok. Vikes do have "The Best player in NFL" in my biased opinion and he is going to get his stats just keep him around 130 yards and a TD and I'll be happy.

Here's the way I view Minn. They are like an injured wild animal that is trapped in a corner. You have no idea what they are going to do, but they are desperate. They may go berserk or they may roll over and die. But the fact that they are unpredictable is challenging.

I hope our team also feels like a a wild animal that is trapped. The only difference is we are not injured. We are healthy and should also feel desperate. Hopefully we come out with claws flying and teeth bared. If we can jump out to an early lead, we can ride our running game to a fairly easy victory. But if we let that injured wild animal think they might have a chance to fight their way out of the corner, we could be in for a long night.

I hate nights like this! Skins, Sooners, & Caps all playing at basically same time. Better make sure the remote batteries are new.something tells me I won't be paying much attention to the caps after the first period.

I think we can beat Minn if we "stop" the run and MAKE Ponder beat us with his arm....I know our secondary is/was seriously lacking in coverage, but they've stepped up the past few weeks and I think the pass rush will creat some turnovers for them....Here's to a good game and a win to put us at 4-5.

is it not arrogance to expect a double digit win vs the vikings when our record isnt a world beater ? that is what i am addressing

we have people here , even after the eagle debacle , that believe we can simply check this box in as a victory and are showing little to no respect for the home team on a short week

if that isnt arrogance then there is no such word

its one thing to believe we can win and a hole different animal to predict double digit wins for a team who is 3-5
