Okay, I've lost two and a row to fall to 3-5. I sent out a mass text to my league today, saying that everyone is on the block, including Jamal Charles and Desean Jackson. I said I was looking to package them together.
This guy in my league has the perfect compatible roster to complete a deal with me, but after I offered him a deal that may have leaned a little my way... he's low balling the shit out of me when there's (what I think to be) a HANDFUL of fair deals on the table.
He wants to deal me Mccoy, Andre Johnson, and Sidney Rice for Charles and D-Jax. I just simply cannot see where that could possibly help me at all. I downgrade in production at both RB and WR. Then I pickup a depth WR and possible flex play in Sidney Rice. It's just not worth it. Like everyone else, I have depth at WR. They're a dime-a-dozen right now. What's the point in having the #1 RB in fantasy if you're going to deal him for inferior players?
He also has Victor Cruz, AJ Green, Tom Brady, and Eddie Lacy. I also have Blackmon, Amendola, Crabtree and Matt Ryan (I was possibly thinking Ryan for Brady as well, buy low type of thing).
All I've asked, is that he swaps in Cruz for Sidney Rice, and I'll give him Crabtree or Amendola.
It would give him the #1 RB (Charles), an emerging Eddie Lacy, the #1 and #2 WR's in points, and then a ton of WR depth still to boot. With Amendola, Rice, Marvin Jones, and Eddie Royal on the bench who he could play in his flex.
I mean, I think that deal really meets in the middle. Or, does it? If not, what is a good deal with those players?
