Maybe not that large a city the one I grew up in, but the success of the Thunder should show once aain that smart management can succeed in smallish markets.Terrible... Not that big a town. So close to the Dallas market. Send them to Toronto.

But there are still more people in Louisiana than Oklahoma, and New Orleans gets fans from 3 states and maybe the Florida panhandle. Oklahoma City would have the Cowboys to the south and Chiefs to the north.Oklahoma City is bigger than New Orleans now and they somehow can support and Nba and Nfl team. Football is king in Oklahoma, this would work.
We are doing great with the NBA, OKC has a thriving economy and is doing well. That being said...can't see the NFL ever coming to town. OKC isn't that being enough, both teams would compete for a limited amount of financial revenue.
We love us some OKC Thunder!!!

Agreed - I'd like to see an NHL team in OKCMaybe not that large a city the one I grew up in, but the success of the Thunder should show once aain that smart management can succeed in smallish markets.
Personally I would rather see an NHL team there, but I never was as much into the NFL's game as much as most Oklahoma natives.
any city would thrive if they were immediately stole..., um, er, given a title contender.
