We play year round down here in Arizona.
Well, that certainly makes me feel all warm and fuzzy![]()
Yeah... we have our last "event" of the year this weekend.
It's called "tough day"... Greens will be around 14-15 and the pins will be put in the most ridic spots imaginable. I've heard that 1 hole we will be using a persimmon driver, balata ball and a wooden shafted putter. There will be other little things too that havent been divulged. It's a 4 person scramble and you have to pick up when you get to a triple.
Yes, there have been many X's in this format before
I missed this entire season with a shoulder tear. Went the cortisone route and PT and managed to avoid surgery but man am I psyched to get back to form next year!

Well I suffered through 95 degrees and 70% humidity and still managed to average better than a round every week through those 4 months of misery, so I am soo looking forward to some continental air to make it down the peninsula, they say it's going to make it down here tonight. The wife is taking her parents to Ft Lauderdale tomorrow, so I am planning a 3:00 tee time tomorrow, weather should be BEAUTIFUL.
Figures...with your game you'd be playing year round!
I have played golf in the high desert in ABQ...6500 ft up @ Paako Ridge, but never the AZ desert...We Ko Pa is on my radar among others out there.
You can't take it too serious...sounds like a lot of fun to close out the season.
One of the best courses in the state.
