Stroke avg on this short par 4 was 5.09.. Made bogey and it felt like a par. You couldn't hold a ball on these greens at 14..
Didn't say that right... The greens were soft & held but the ball wouldn't stop once rolling near some of hole locations. Another pic of that same hole location, this isn't my group but the only way to stop it near the hole here was to hit it into the fringe on the top of the mound.
Sounds like a blast! I have my own wood handled putter with a smooth leather grip. Don't have any more persimmon clubs anymore, though I used to have an old 5 wood that I could smack pretty good.Yeah... we have our last "event" of the year this weekend.
It's called "tough day"... Greens will be around 14-15 and the pins will be put in the most ridic spots imaginable. I've heard that 1 hole we will be using a persimmon driver, balata ball and a wooden shafted putter. There will be other little things too that havent been divulged. It's a 4 person scramble and you have to pick up when you get to a triple.
Yes, there have been many X's in this format before

Haven't stored mine yet, but with a cold snap rolling into NH this weekend it's likely that I'm done for the year too.is when I have to store the clubs for the winter
