The computer polls don't just count yards and points and tackle\s. They have a basis on ranking teams according to how well they do against other teams, and that IN A BIG WAY is based on polls.
We would do better with a computer as our coach I think.
What he meant is the bcs is 2/3 human bias polls. Imo only computers should be used.
Anybody have a link to the actual computer rankings?
I was going to....nevermind.
I was actually looking at the LSU depth chart and was amazed at how young that team is. I think I counted fewer than 12 seniors in the 2-3 deep. I'd say that's probably having an effect on coaching strategy.
For fuck's sake, does anybody understand what Wallace is ever saying???
Georgia and South Carolina blow dick.

-so far this season, team SEC has had 8 different teams (over half the conference) ranked at #11 or higher at some point in the season
-go back to this point last season and that number rise's to 9, go to the beginning of last season and that number rises to 10. so basically what we are seeing is that 10/14 sec teams were ranking 11th or higher within the last season and a half.
-what makes this number so insane is that of the 4 remaining SEC teams that dont have a top 11 ranking within the past year & a half, 3 of them have still made the rankings anyway. that means just one sec team hasnt been ranked within this season & last season
-in this season alone 6 sec teams (nearly half of the sec) have been at #6 or higher in the AP, go back to last season and that number rises to 7 sec teams (half the sec) have had a top 6 ranking, (5 of which were in the the top 3!!!!)
those are some pretty insane numbers and there is simply no way that a conference is that elite. those stats are clear as day that theres a pretty big bias in the polls going on here.
when the middle of the pack b10 beats on each other, they dont get ranked, when the sec does the same, the cycle in & out of the top 25. w
when its the top b10 teams beating up on each other, they cycle in & out of the top 18-15, when the sec does the same they cycle in & out of the top 11
