Melo has way more talent around him. I mean JR Smith as a scorer? If Harden had that he would try harder on defense as well. I like Harden over Melo to be honest. Harden is only 23, if what we saw from about 75% of the season last year and he can make that 100% but also add the transition from a 3rd to 1st option. Hardens fg% should be much more consistent a long with having a good post man will= less turnovers. However he needs a point guard that can be consistent and can shoot 3s, before he takes a top 5 MVP step. Needs more tools around him, but I could see Harden playing at a MVP level especially with the confidence he will have with Howard and Parsons.

This is stupid both should be in the top 10. The best 3 Shooting guards in the nba are Kobe,Wade,Harden no order, hopefully Oladipo can help because the league has no pure shooting guards just a bunch of combo guards.

Why is he so arrogant though? Hes a great player, but if he was in a market like Houston or Phoenix no one would want to play with him, he demands stuff out of you which usually doesn't work. Players like teammates that encourage them, not players that bitch for missing free throws in a game where you had 10 turnovers. I think he was. he used to be in the argument for best player in the league just about 4-5 years ago. he is a former scoring champ. a finals mvp. he honestly led a heat team to the playoffs that without him may have been a 15 win team. he knows he hasn't been himself the last half of the season. his knees aren't what they used to be. he wants to be DWade of the flash years.

Jordan, Tomlinson.. a lot of great athletes are known for taking any slight against them and using it as motivation. that's all this is.

I think DWade comes back to his normal self this year, he has a lot of heart. I don't think he played that badly in the playoffs. I'd take him over Harden, Harden disappears against the good teams and that's just the truth.
