Mushcamp to Texas?

Heard this today.....Mack retires, first call Texas makes is to Will Muschamp. If there is another thread about this then merge. But I find this interesting, some guys were commenting that Will might take it as he doesn't have to deal with Saban or the SEC. I thought it was crazy considering UF athletic Dept. and other circumstances are similar to Texas I almost saw it as a later move, but the SEC competition made sense.

I would too honestly. If Saban were to leave it would be to satisfy his ego in taking another crack at the NFL. Not going to a spread happy conference that doesn't utilize his scheme's strengths to his advantage. And Nicky isn't going to Texas or anywhere else to run a finesse 4-3 any time soon.

I think Chip comes back for sure in 5 years or less to the college game. Only reason he left Oregon is because he would have been suspended for several games (possibly a season) Since he went to NFL before sanctions, he got 18 month no CFB contact and a show cause if you want to hire him after that 18 months. Anybody that says he didn't know that those restrictions were going to be put on him is fooling themselves.

So he wont be eligible to coach college until 2015.
