lol good point... But reality is the 49rs have been chewing up defenses for a while so I just found his comment pretty ego filled...

Could it have possibly been a case of your defense doing what it does normally and the offense not executing? Nothing SEA D did yesterday was surprising...I read it like that. I don't think it is an ego thing as much as SEA fans may want it to be.

This is what I don't get about fans. I don't look at everything RW says and try to turn it into him being a terrible player/leader/person. It's not like it was a surprise to anyone what your D (and secondary more importantly) was capable of. He knew he was going to have to play great to beat them, he didn't, he took the blame. Very egotistical...

The 49ers made terrible mistake after terrible mistake. The Seahawks took advantage, but when multiple red zone stops are given back, the fault is on SF.

Yeah I assuming frustration. Kap didnt play all that great but the defense did make a lot of good plays the INT by Sherman was one of the best I have seen in a while.

But neither QB played all that brilliantly but Seattles defense came ready and 9ers had no answer for Lynch...

Almost made me lose this week.

I think the thing that pisses off Seahawks fans is that Kaep didn't give the Hawks Defense any credit for doing a good job, he just said that he didn't play well. That is pretty egotistical to think that your team lost because you didn't play well when there were failures on offense and defense that caused the 49ers to lose this game.

I just don't see that as egotistical at all. Its all about confidence in this league especially with two teams as talented as Seattle and San Fran, Seattle looked like the more confident team last night after the rain delay. I think it helps his team by saying, I played bad which is why we lost, basically we can beat them next time. Instead of, Seattle D made me play bad, whether true or not. As a QB and team leader you have to get the team to believe in you, after all they could very well end up back in Seattle during the playoffs this year.... lets hope not though.

I never said Kap was a terrible player or a terrible person... I said his comment was egotistical which is was... You guy's are just defending it because he's your guy.... I understand...

Every week QBs come out and say that the defense played great and took them out of their game. This is back-2-back games where the Seattle defense embarrassed Kap and he has yet to give credit where its due.

Wilson gives credit to opposing defenses win or lose.

If Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers can give credit to Seattle's defense, then Kap should be able to.

Kaep's always been a little egotistical, and has been known to make a comment or two. It's not much different from the league, but being the QB he probably should refrain from saying something that may make this defense remember those comments come December.
