I like the team effort tonight. Darvish had one of those rare outings where he just didn't have any command or control, but he kept battling and trudged through 5 while holding them to just 2 runs. Our offense was patient and disciplined and put some really good swings on some good pitches to hit. Soto was phenomenal behind the plate. Whoever kept bitching about how he "GAURENFUCKENTEED" we would get our ass kicked today can take a seat.

I was driving home from the airport tonight, listening to MLB radio, and they had the Rays feed on. The announcers were bored because the game is out of hand. So they start talking about Wash's managerial skills. Said their comments should be qualified because they only see Wash a few times each year, and they understand that the players love playing for him, but they said in their opinion it seems the Rangers play best when Wash gets out of their way. His game management inhibits the Rangers success. Then they proceed to criticize the way he's using his bullpen in this series...they were being civil, but highly critical....figured most of you would have enjoyed it!!!
