^Someone that believes the stereotypes being tossed around. What because he's "small" and white he can't play defense? If you look at the numbers... in his prime he was actually an above average defensive PG. As he got older he just lost that lateral quickness so his defense suffered. It drives me crazy when people say he can't play defense with little evidence to support it.

And to answer the question I'll take Nash over Kobe. Greatest PG of all-time. Yeah I said it.

Overall talent and athleticism goes to Kobe. I think Nash has a big edge in leadership and teammate skills. If both are in their prime its hard not to pick Kobe but Nash was also wreaking havoc with his shooting ability and assists. Plus Nash is actually a much better shooter percentage wise than Kobe. My bias is telling me to pick Nash so ill go Nash. He is a Sun for life and I don't care what any of you say. Almost won the MVP 3 years in a row. Man I miss those Suns.

What defensive numbers are you looking at? He averages less than 1 steal a game and has negligible rebounds. It has nothing to do with color, he has been a poor defender since he was at Santa Clara.

And to answer the question, if I was starting a team I would be worried about revenue. Kobe puts more butts in the seats and jerseys on peoples backs. Not even close. And who has more rings? As an owner it would be Kobe all day every day. Oh, and as a GM too, because when Kobe wants to he can do what Nash does; doesn't work the other way.

It is not a slight to be worse than Lebron. LBJ might go down as a top 3 player of all time.

Kobe has more than established a lasting legacy.

But since their primes did not overlap as much, while playing in different conference, at different positions......
