kind of turning out to be a last man standing situation, but right now, it looks like it favors DeAngelo Williams by a landslide, no matter what rotoworld says about his YPC in preseason.

I'm not calling him a lock to be a RB2, but with Stewart appearing to be in a slow recovery, and possibly out the first 6 weeks, I'm moving Williams further up my board, and may consider reaching for him as my 4th RB, when typically, I steer completely clear of this combo. They've been a mystery to me since both having decent seasons a few years ago.

Anyone else bumping D Will up over a chunk of low end RBs with the strong possibility he gets a big chunk of the offensive snaps?

I think so, cause Cam will evolve more and more into a pocket passer, that runs when he needs to, not a running QB that passes when he needs to. I feel like that transition is inevitable if he wants to land a fat contract after his rookie deal is up.

You have the right thought process here. I would definitely bump him up. Plus if Scam continues to struggle then the team will push the running game more. As long as he stays healthy (obviously) then he is a good pickup.

I am pushing him up ahead of Rashard Mendenhall, Mark Ingram and Daryl Richardson. I can not think of any other RB1s I would not take before him. Maybe Ryan Mathews.

I agree with tlance.. I've moved him up to a late 3rd rb people will still shy away given the rep. But I think he will push to the big seasons he's had before ..

I somewhat agree here, except for the LARGE elephant in the room, which is the goal line. Cam will still be a goal line runner, and there's Tolbert too. D-Will will be serviceable.

yea, I dont think anyone is looking to have DWill in their starting lineup every week, but I have a couple drafts this weekend, and will definitely be trying to add him for depth as a low end RB3/high end RB4

I've been following DWill for a few weeks now, and honestly I think he could be a sleeper based on where he's getting picked. I grabbed him in the B League draft as a RB3, but it wouldn't surprise me if he put up RB2 numbers. Stewart may be about done IMO, he can't stay healthy to save his life. Tolbert will get some goal line carries, but it sounds like they're gonna try and avoid running Cam like they have been, so I think Williams may be the main beneficiary.

before the season starts, draft is over, would you use your waiver on D Will? (question to anyone)

He should be owned in anything bigger than a 4 team league, so yes.

this was my first $ league, drafted a couple weeks ago. it seems like there is at least 1 owner that makes a roster move after every preseason game.
Anyway, he dropped DWill for MBush after those 2 rushing TDs vs. OAK the other night.

I think a few of the owners are hardcore bears fans, so that might explain the urgency on his part.

I understand getting Bush, but dropping Williams is a little silly.

The only way I would consider saving the claim is if it never resets and you could keep it as long as you want. Even then, I think Williams has enough value to justify using it. If waiver order does not reset, it is unlikely you will find a better value in the pre-season.
