I use to be very active on the Buckeye ESPN board. There were some very good posters on the board. Unfortunately the trolling got out of hand and most of them left elsewhere?

I joined a small Buckeye board on pro ___ boards a couple of years ago. There is a group of regular posters who have actually become friends - - - 5 of us met at Thurman's a couple of weeks ago to meet face to face. It was a blast. 3 guys from Columbus, 1 from Cincy and 1 from Dayton. It was actually arranged by the guy from Cincy. A gal from out of state actually sent $50 to the guy who pretty much runs the board to put towards the bill.

There are people from all over - North Carolina, Missouri, Georgia etc. Good discussions, fun contests, great game-day chat and other than the occasional political thread, things are civil.

When ESPN shut down, I decided to come over here and try it out.

Good to have you. I'm still getting used to the CFB boards. I'm usually on the NHL boards. However, hockey is more or less dead at this time. It's all about Buckeye football and the Eagles for me now.

We need to post a sticky for tOSU recruiting here. Anyway great news coming from the Curtis Samuel camp. Samuel's coach will be flying into CBus tomorrow to meet w Meyer and Co. It sounds like we may have our first 5 star committing boys.

You've got to be kidding me guys. How the hell is this board dead. We just landed one of the fastest guys in the class, 5 star Curtis Samuel is a Buckeye and is being compared to Percy Harvin. I know we've heard this before. I will say this. No fucking way any team in the B1G should even be mentioned in the same breath as the near future of Meyer's guys. This dude is putting together one friggin stellar class(s) now and the future.
