First off, what does what Jim Buss said just before the firing have to do with whether or not Brown should have scrapped the Princeton offense when the Lakers got Nash and Howard? The bottom line is that the offense he chose to stick with, didn't match the personnel that he now had.
Also, it's not as if Brown was the first coach in the history of sports to get the dreaded "vote of confidence" before he got fired.
As for what YOU think happened:You blame Kobe!! What a shock!! I'm sure that everyone who read that just passed out from the shock of you blaming Kobe!! Kobe was publicly supportive of Brown right up to the end!! Of course, now you'll say that Kobe was only saying what he HAD to say!!
You really are a one trick pony!![/QUOTE
And please quit playing the lame and incorrect 'he hates Kobe' card, because it isn't the case.
I just call things as I see them. Doesn't mean I'm right or wrong, but at least its coming from what I know is an honest point of view.
Didn't I write this about Kobe, in a repsonse to you on the 'Kobe overrated' thread?

Seriously though, good post and well stated!! To be fair re: the MJ/Kobe comparisons, Kobe fueled some of it earlier in his career by stating that he wanted to be considered better than MJ and by copying so much of his game and mannerisms!!
As he's gotten older, he's moved away from much of that, but he did "feed the monster" in his younger days!!
"Not all Heat fans.
My opinion on this thread was that Kobe was one of the best, most fun to watch players of all time. "
It's no different then what's going on with Beasley.
As much as I like him, I'm not going to disagree with all of the negative things that are being written about him, because they appear to be true.
Can you clean this up so it's legible? You really need to learn the quotebox function!!![]()
