Agreed, but to jump on him about the Ducks seems pretty stupid,

No I dont. Tampa and Boston are likely to both get in unfortunately IMO with who another who knows edging out the West #2

I know Oakland and Texas have a pretty good divisional rivalry going on. But if Texas passes Oakland I am rooting for the Rangers thats for sure.

SO what I am saying is I am not nutswinging on the AL West. But I am so ready for Oakland or Texas to take the next step. Texas has been way too close to not get one. Oakland fails in the playoffs against Detroit the last couple of times.

Time for a change and a WS in the AL West. Anyone not named Los Angeles Angels of Rancho Cucamonga

No doubt the Sox and Rays both get in. I'm hoping Sox win the division. The Sox/Rays would of gotten the WC this year and wouldn't have to play a 1 game playoff for it. Dam new rules.

If Texas gets it this year it will be because they are the team of destiny. The pitching and defense is there, but the offense comes and goes. They'll have to be getting timely hits and out pitching their opponents in the playoffs. The offense can be good enough, but its nothing like the offenses we're used to having. But the playoffs are all about pitching and getting hot at the right time, and Texas has the pitching.

Ultimately, I feel only one team from the AL Central will be in the playoffs. It could be the Tigers or the Indians, but more than likely will be the Tigers, because when in doubt I will take pitching.

Well honestly I hope the A's don't make it, because duh I never want them to win anything. We shall see in 50 games though.

The A's payroll is paltry and yet they put out a winner sometimes. I can respect that. May not like them, but I'd take them just about any day over the Angels. I have great disdain for the Halos. Basically been Yankeeing themselves for the better part of a decade, overspending and acting like all that. Really really despise the Angels. And you can bet the Texas Rangers are enemy#1 to Arte Moreno.
