Not a big fan of realignment. Not because I fear change but the way they did it they're going to have to realign things once again pretty soon. Either that or add expansion teams which doesn't make any sense either. I would've just had the Red Wings & Jets trade conferences. Instead we got the Canadiens, Panthers, & Lightning in the same division

Like I posted earlier, I think this whole realignment thing is messed up. They will have to realign again or have expansion. Really makes no sense IMO.

Agreed, went from balanced divisions with some geographical sense, now divisions with different amounts of teams, and no geographical sense.

They will probably have to add a team in the Western Conference. Someone on NHL Network commented, "they already got 16 teams losing money, might as well have 17".

Yeah that might be worst name of a division ever. Heck that might be the worst name given to any professional sports name division, league, team, etc that I can remember.

But I guess when they decided on the Atlantic Division they thought heck Boston, Florida and hoping all NHL fans are stupid and don't know geography that Tampa is not on the Atlantic...Or they let Bubby Brister decide on what is considered bodies of water?
