TP: "Why put a bunch of players on your round two list that "SHOULD be gone" by our pick at the top of the 2nd round? That's just unnecessarily complicated."

BAM...right there Mo.

Yep, this confirms my theory that you lack basic reading comprehension. BAM.

This was in response to your dysfunctional "big board"- I was pointing out the inherent flaws in yours, not at all saying the Lions take players off their board. The reason I quoted "SHOULD be gone" is because those were your exact words.

And I'm supposed to be the ignorant one here?

BAM!

In a couple months -- Rob Base will be able to have my back on this, once his little one's are born. As a matter of fact -- I'd be willing to wager, once his little one's are born you won't see him posting in the middle of the night ever again.
I'll take any bet you want on newborns. When you have more than one month under your belt your thoughts might carry some weight, until then its just another topic you think you are an expert on where you dont actually know jack shit.

If Swarm isnt posting it will simply be because he doesnt want to, but I am assure you that he will have the chance. He is having twins and I will hope for the sake of he and his wife they have the same sleeping patterns. You are dealing with one, which is a cakewalk compared to what he's going to have.

Whether or not you are Principal is irrelevant, its impossible to prove or disprove one way or the other. People will respond to whatever your posts may be and under whatever name its posted under. But try to keep it to something you have a clue about, because at this stage in your life you have about the same level of experience giving guidance on raising newborns as I do being an astronaut.

I'm very lucky to have a job where I work from home across all 50 states. I have a ton of clients on the west coast so I'm used to being up all night often. The hardest thing I'll ever do in life I already did it and owned it so bring on parenthood. Can't wait!

Hey Meow -- I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you are an old man and probably have children older than me. It is the only explanation I can come up with to explain your senility. Correct me if I'm wrong? I'm going to guess you are probably in your 60's -- that would be the only explanation to the non-sense you just spewed in your last post.

And Gramps -- I stated he wouldn't be posting in the middle of the night because he will have his hands full with something MUCH more important than a chat board. I didn't saying anything about guidance on raising newborns, though I would be more than willing to give him any insight he'd like if he had any questions. What I did offer him in the past was -- If he had any questions regarding twins -- I could pass the questions along to my best friend whose twins just turned 1 last month.

Now hurry up and get to the cafeteria before you miss the Senior Citizen Ice Cream Social.

Couldn't agree more with you there. I'm sure you are going to be an unbelievable dad. As I told you before -- if you have any questions regarding twins, feel free to PM me or post them on here and I can relay them to my buddy.

Or if you'd like -- I could PM you his phone number and I know for a fact he would happily pass along anything he has learned in the last year.

Thanks dude I will def keep that in mind. I have a very strong family support group, big fam, wife's mom has a live in day care so she grew up around kids her whole life. Wife has a 12 year old sister who can help. Both our mom's are really active in helping with fam. My sister has a 3 year old. My dad is great with kids and retired so he's around. Really a great situation for the twins to fall into. There's a whole group of people just waiting to love and care for them.

Festivus in July makes Smitty eat hot bovine
Dr. Evil-er had a epiphany about Principal amd MikeD
Smitty and MikeD might have the same mom:noidea:
Uncle Jack is whack.
Honey Badger will soon be room mates in someones cardboard box, with a great view though!
Tpaul is not politically correct and Principal does understand sarcasm
555 means hahaha in Thailand

I can tell you right now -- I really wish I was posting as Principal, as I would have been on this board arguing with TP instead of at the gym pulling a muscle in my lower back doing dead lifts and having to basically crawl back to my car.

Good lord -- nothing worse than injuring your damn back. Any physical therapists on this board? I know I have to alternate a heating pad and a cold pack, but do any of you know of anything else I should do?

Stay away from heat for the first 48 hours or so, then alternate ice and heat.

Just ice for now to try to limit the inflammation. Also, try to stay mobile- the less you move the tighter it will get and the more inflamed too.

Ice it for 20 mins at a time and the (very) gently stretch and then go for a walk to keep it loose. Keep repeating that as much as you can tolerate during the 1st day and it'll heal much faster. With soft tissue injuries it's all about keeping the inflammation down. To that end I'd also recommend some ibuprofen- generally they're 200 mg pills, and if so you should take 4 (since 800 mg is the highest "safe" dosage doctors will recomend)...

Listen up assclown, I'm 43 and still have 4 kids in the house. Since you're so young I wont call it senility regarding the above post I'll just call it what it is, stupidity. See now, I dont come onto a sports message board and start offering up guidance on what new parents can expect or what they will be doing when I've got a whopping one month under my belt. That's your M.O. though on every topic and what is does is just flat out make you come as the little pretend you know it all idiot that you are.

Now shut up and get your ass back to work refilling the Milky Way's at the local arcade and collecting quarters so you can go play Golden Tee for a living.

That is why I say he is not Principal. He would definitely let us know about the salary cap, had he known any of thing about it...

Genius -- I'm going thru almost exactly what Swarm is going to be going thru in a couple months. NOWHERE have I said I was an expert. Since he is having twins, I even offered up my friends number if he had any concerns, as his twins just turned 1. Offering up help doesn't make you an expert, but I know it eased some of my concerns when I had friends who just had babies I could ask questions too. That is why offered it to Swarm.

The only statement I made is -- Swarm won't be posting in the middle of the night on a message board once his twins are born. If you have 4 kids and remember what the first month or so is like -- the baby is crying every other hour or so to be fed. He isn't going to have 1 baby to worry about, he is going to have 2. His babies well being and getting sleep is going to be a lot more important than posting on this board in the wee hour of the morning.

Thanks TP. I will just use the ice pack for the next two days. I already have 800 mg ibuprofen at the house, so I will just take those as I need them.

Trying to jack a thread are you Swarm? That is Muzzer's job. Dangit now I have brought Muzzer into it also...

:focus: would be nice. They make playoffs and all will be forgiven. Schwartz and Mayhew step in and save Detroit. Lewand shows them how to move money around and suddenly the books are cooked to the good.

While I did get a laugh out of this post -- you missed the mark by a long shot. You see, I don't have to do collections and what not. I have people to do that for me. It is one of the luxuries of owning your own business.

If you'd like me to pass along some of my expertise on that subject -- let me know. Maybe you wouldn't be such an angry old man.
