we just have too many weapons man... whos gonna stop Gordon on your team? or Ashley? Johnson will lock down Jermaine, and McConnell is also a very good defender at the point. Huge advantage for us.

I agree he could use a rest, but his defense has been so clutch. He makes a web gem at least once per game!

I don't ever want to see Kubel in right again. Gibby needs to have Eaton, Corbin and Parra out there on a regular basis.

I assume you mean Pollock, not Corbin. Though I'd love to see Corbin pitch every single day.

FRIDAY: Despite Towers' comments, ESPN's Buster Olney tweets that the Diamondbacks are at least discussing Jake Peavy as a possibility, noting that the White Sox have scouted Randall Delgado (Twitter link). Given the number of available relievers the White Sox have, the Diamondbacks could ask for both Peavy and a bullpen arm in a trade, though that's just speculation on my part.

I find this hard to believe after what KT just said yesterday. Buster Olney likes to speculate a lot so I wouldn't put a whole lot into this.

I find it hard to believe that an GM would say publicly what they are really going to do or thinking of doing. I would imagine that if you said you were hot for player X, it would make other teams take a look too which might end up making the cost go up.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I doubt KT is going public with what he's thinking... Olney always speculates though so I'm not really surprised. If we make a trade it will probably come out of nowhere and be unexpected.

I agree. To add to your point, John Gambadoro tweated that there is no truth to the Peavy rumors. Not sure how reliable Gambadoro is, however.
