CHICAGO -- The old Derrick Rose is back.

Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Rose's speed and explosiveness are back to where the former MVP feels like himself again.

"I worked him out about a week ago," Thibodeau said in a phone conversation Thursday. "It was great."

Sounds like Thibbs got word from ownership to talk Rose up for a future trade. Why keep paying someone that much money who's mentally fragile, refused to play, watches injured teammates bust their ass in the playoffs, but has no problem cashing paychecks.

Who cares Door Prize.

How about those Knicks with that over rated ball hog Carmelo Anthony?

I agree on seriously considering trading him. If I'm a quality free agent I'm not going to a team where the "leader" decided he didn't feel like playing in the playoffs despite being cleared long before.

How can you expect teammates to tough it out when the superstar won't?

True.

But you can't build a team around Joakim Noah. If traded going need someone like Marcus Thornton quality in return.

Who cares? You should as an alleged "fan". You and thousands of others of were strung along since Feb. when he was cleared to play. Then Thibbs saying he could be available for the playoffs. Then saying "he maybe available for tomorrow nights playoff game"

Your hero is a mental midget and all of sudden has his "muscle memory" back.

You don't give him up for nothing. But for a reasonable offer I take a guy who I don't know for a fact already will quit on his team.

:lame:

Idiot, unless the player has an expiring contract (memo to the Pacers on Granger), you don't trade a guy that just missed an entire season.

While I do think Rose should have tried to play this season, if he returns next season with his pre-injury explosiveness, 2012-13 will be all forgotten and you will all flip-flop your opinions like little kids.

Stay classy, Doors.

He's back now that he doesn't have to face his fear of playing in a game for six months? Convenient.

It won't be forgotten. Leadership is better than that.

Rose is now seen as a little bitch, he is now the same as his college coach.

I don't see the point of Thibs even saying this. This must annoy the shit out of Bulls fans and honestly it annoys the shit out of me and I'm not a Bulls fan

Rose playing I wiil/I won't be back was a message to Paxson to sign guys that can take the offensive burden off of him.

But hard when you give $16 million max contract to a just barely above average player like Carlos Boozer the Lozzer.

Like the FUCK MIAMI on top of your avi :)

I think that this whole thing has been handled pretty poorly all along!! From the allowing it to get out that he had been cleared, to D-Rose acknowledging that it was "mental" to Thibs saying "Maybe the next game" after every game he missed.

Company line from management, to Docs, to D-Rose, to Thibs, should have been "When he's 100%, he'll play. Until then, no comment"!!
