This week is reserved to gloat on the win over the 49ers. Next week, we look forward to the Broncos! It's one of those unwritten rules for fans of teams heading over to the Super Bowl. I thought you knew about this since your team was there last year.

At first I liked this and put it on my desktop and shared it on FB, but after thinking about it, I think is is actually disrespectful to Sherm and Malcom. The Immaculate Reception was a fluke/lucky play that bounced off the reciever and defenders shoulder and ten yards right to Franco Harris, where he snagged it and ran it in for the game winning TD. the name is a reflection of a sort of hand of God type of miracle.
Our play was not lucky or flukey at all. It was study, skill, hustle and preparation.
im·mac·u·late adjective \i-ˈma-kyə-lət\
: perfectly clean
: having no flaw or error
I totally agree with the last sentence in your post. However I also think immaculate is a great definition of what Sherm and Malcom did. Anyhow, my co-workers love it on my desktop.
The saddest part is that was probably 7 bucks worth of popcorn at the stadium. What a waste.![]()
