SF coaching staff takes a big hit as 9er Oline coach Tim Drevno, who was with Harbaugh at Stanford (2007-10) and came with him to the 9ers, has accepted the Oline coaching job at USC.

He's one of the best Oline guys in the biz and that's a big hit to the 9ers crew.

Actually, the consensus was that Niner fans would have rather seen Drevno go then our actual head OL coach Solari go. Drevno was an assistant to the OL coach, Mike Solari.

The Ravens aren't in the playoffs so the NFL is without a crown at the moment so I guess you can pass the time by bowing to your CURRENT division champions the mighty Seattle Seahawks. Not too shabby of a deal if you ask me.

There are 3 banners you can earn in any one year: Division, Conference, and SB championships. All are better than nothing. Being better than SF in the regular season and forcing them on the road throughout the playoffs (unless NO gets through of course) is better than where you are. Isn't it cute that your only claim to fame in the last 20 years is a failed SB game against a team that got there as a WC and was lead by Flacco.

Aw, Wiz, cute response. And isn't it cute that your team's BEST season in franchise history was equal to last year's failed SB attempt. Your pinnacle is an unsuccessful season for the Niners franchise. All ARE better then nothing, but only teams without SBs give a flying fuck about the first two.
