Yes, you can. Just quit WHINING about the "inappropriate touching". You should be promoting or at least preface your responses with the fact that the league is now soft. Instead, you and other whiner fans, didn't say all but a good %, complain that all our DB's do is hold. Let 'em play ball and quit complaining.

That's what you can do. :suds:

You are right. I should ignore the fact that SEA DBs are breaking the rules almost every passing play based on nostalgia of a game played from yester-year. The NFL as we remember it isn't coming back. There is no reason to promote anything as the NFL players from decades past are the reason why this game is what it is. They will never be allowed to "play ball" again. This game has now hit Madden status.

So you are saying they should be flagged on every play? Why no flags on every play if they are not playing the game properly? Why haven't other teams gone to this model, since it is clearly working?

I guess what you are really saying is PC is a genius on defense and realized before anyone that these types of players will excel in this league and defensive penalties aren't as bad as offensive penalties, especially when you have guys that can shut down a team in the redzone and are fairly good at limiting long explosive plays.

Thanks for the back handed compliment. We like what he has done as well!

Hyperbole much, dre? :L You've regressed back to Harbaugh status. Not that you should give
a shit but you do. Yes, enjoy the game and quit worrying about the refs and their calls. We all
know they suck and bad calls go both ways. Do you read about me whining like you
and your 9er brethren about refs? You 9er posters are a bunch of whiny girls.

Besides, it's just a little " inappropriate touching".

Now, get the F out of here and head back to your hole where you belong.

If I had the inclination, I would put up a pic of the dead horse continually getting whipped and beaten.

There is holding on every single play. Just look at the trenches and it is there in plain sight on very play. The CB's are more on an island and it appears more obvious when they do it.

Rules are rules. I am glad t have a Head Coach that pushes the rules to the limit. Our players play right on that edge and I am good with it.

Sometimes it gets called and sometimes it doesn't. I prefer the aggressive guys vs the guys that allow the catch and figure it is their job to limit YAC as much as possible.

I've actually had this conversation with friends. I wouldn't be opposed to the 49ers having this mindset (although Fangio is more of a play off type of cover guy). It's basically redefining what defensive holding and pass interference is and I would continue to use it as long as the league allows it. It will only stop if officials call it so much that it stops being an effective strategy.

Justin Smith holds offensive lineman, I love that strategy because it very rarely gets called and there are enormous potential benefits (an unblocked pass rusher). I don't blame the Seahawks for using it ( I wish we used it more), I blame the league for allowing it to happen.

Bright that's funny from a Seahawks fan, and no I'm not talking about your intelligence. I just don't care if you think I'm being a dick for bringing up the only title shot your Seahawks ever had and let slip through their fingers. Your teams players more so than fan's be even some of you need to remember your franchise has never done anything of note so to think that a game against an NFL team is a glorified practice isn't what a champion does.

I'm don't blame the Seahawks players for playing that way if you can get away with it why the hell not, but for Seahawks fan's to not see that their DB's do it nearly every play is laughable. Yeah Justin Smith holds and keep on doing it until the ref's stop you. For Seahawks fan's to not see that their DB's success is in part to the fact that they are allowed to mug WR's is funny.

If I'm not mistaken Sherman a Seahawks DB said "We didn't project it to be this way, we expected to blow them out, but they got the benefit of a few calls tonight throughout the game and that helps you, especially on third down. We will see them again, and it will be a different result."

He didn't say the calls cost us the game but he did in many more words.

oh we know they do it. It's the other team's coaches, fans and the press whining all night about it that gets annoying. Just like anyone whining about holding on every play. As someone on Field Gulls wrote, most of our penalties this season were on offense due to our O-line having backups for most the season, not the DBs. Anytime a big play happens and it changes a game, people go back and slo-mo the replay to see if there is a hold they can justify their whining with. Even Hawks fans do this. Like the Gore run and VD's hold on Sherman.

If the refs don't call it, then I guess it either wasn't a foul, did not impact the play enough for them to call it, or they did not see it. That's all, end of story.

It's part of their physical playing style, if the ref's don't call it you can't do much about it.

More or less, it was Harb's bitching and moaning the got the officials to throw the flags. Remember, he's the only coach (as of now) that we know that complained to the league office that our secondary was to physical against his WR.
