Working out the kinks. I'll be in regular season mode very soon here. Maybe I'll try some Adderall to get my game tight. Seems to work for SEA. :laugh3:

I kid, I kid.

You know, I just noticed that the emoticon that we both put on our posts looks way too happy. Then I saw the pumping motion he does with his fist. I feel dirty.......

You mean like it did last year in Seattle?

Lol...trust me, it won't be ANYTHING like that. Seattle is a very, very good team. You guys are very young, play aggressively and very physical. There is one big piece missing from the puzzle that is going to take you guys another couple years to get. All you guys expecting a repeat of last years game are in for a very, very bad day when we show up. Can't wait!

That is your view. It could be argued they were reckless and aggressive. We smash mouthed them Seahawk style. Another low scoring affair for our opponents offense. Your team will get smashed in Seattle again. It will suck to be a SF fan that week.
I will take victories like that, yet I do wish for fewer penalties. The refs appear to get paid per flag thrown.

So we can now forecast what the outcome of a game in week two will be based on a preseason game with a mix of players many of which won't even be on the team in that game? :L

As if that wasn't bad enough, what team is it that is going to destroy the Seahawks at home based on their performance in a game they won on the road vs a very tough team? Yeah, the same SF team that barely survived a game vs KC :laugh3: and lost to the same team Seattle destroyed last week

So SF is going to march in and win in Seattle based on a preseason game, but their own preseason games don't count because they are preseason right?:clap::clap:

Logic isn't one of your strongest attributes is it?

If you live by the sword, you die by the sword. You cannot applaud the aggression then be upset to the penalties being called. I look at the penalties as a byproduct of an aggressive game plan.

Oh yes I can cuz I say so!
Actually, it is a fine line to walk. Everyone wants their team to dominate and our youngsters are learning their way. Pete says they are trying too hard. I agree.

Missed the game and didn't record it. Next replay isn't until the morning. Can anyone explain all of those penaties with a non-biased view? It seems excessive to me...like the Hawks are being made an example of the new rules or aggresive play....I don't know.

I would say that about 60-70% of the penalties were correct. Of course there were many holding calls that were not made. Cut down on the stupid stuff and we should be fine.
We look to be more aggressive than last year. That will probably manifest itself in more flags thrown, but on the plus side our opponents will feel that aggression.
Looking at the stat line. It says a lot that even though the laundry was constant and plentiful, we beat them soundly in TOP, run game, yardage, points allowed, ect. while losing the TO battle IIRC.
Other than the TO's that is Seahawk football gents.

Lol...look at the play count of our starters in weeks 1 and 2 preseason games vs the snap counts of your starters last night... Most teams use week 3 as a ramp up game for the regular season.
Regardless, I'm not basing my prediction it on their performance, more so their lack of discipline and leadership.

It's also true that most teams use a vanilla offense in the preseason and don't look that much like they do in regular season. If you are really going to read that much into those games then knock yourself out, but you are in for a surprise.

Please tell me, what has changed so drastically that makes you think the Niners are going to walk into Seattle on home opener and win? Last time i checked, the Niners got their asses kicked up and down the field and we pretty much have the same guys plus offseason additions. Your going to be depressed come that Monday morning.

So since you guys had some additions, as if we didn't, what do you expect the final score to be? Should probably be worse than 42-13 right?

Nobody can give a good guess on the final score, but as far as who comes out the winner...I'd put some coin on the Hawks or make a avatar wager if you like.

You got me there! 41-14 Seattle wins. It's a closer game.

Sure. If the Niners win, you change your avatar to a picture of our Lombardi's. If the Hawks win, I'll do the same ;)

What's wrong with making some early projections of the score? Many of your fellow hawks fans are pretty confident. I just want to be prepared with how bad of beatdown my Niners are going to take up there.

 We may just win one this year! I guess you don't want to make a serious wager. I don't blame you, if I was in your shoes , I won't either.
