If you're looking for a football avi for the season we should coordinate and all get different active players for the season. Could be fun to collectively represent the team we talk up so much.

Some of us on the 'New Rams' thread thought it was a good idea, so I created this thread to keep track. Just copy and paste the players list and put your name in red next to the player who you would like to sport during the season.

Post your selection from the available players listed on the OP (Players without a poster listed in red) and if you are first to select such player for segment one you will be assigned your selected player and it will updated here on the opening post of this thread.

That would be cool if all who chose to participate would change it for that one game the week of. We could either put up an avatar with just some dude with a crazy avatar like this one below or another with a Jeff Fisher variety.

Thanks for doing this thread Vita! I said this on the other thread but I'll repeat it here. I'm going to leave this Fisher/Snead avi until there are some good full-pad pics of Ogletree up which will probably come in August.

Another idea I threw around was if there is a fantastic performance by a portion of the team(all those sacks vs AZ) that we could honor such a performance with a everyone who recorded a sack represented. We can discus this later but I think it'd be cool to get all the rookies represented week 1 for their debuts.

Posted my response on the wrong thread, last night. And it looks like, since then, Janoris Jenkins has been spoken for. Lol. As I said, though... I'll generally change up my avi a few times, over the course of the season (as I did, back on CBS). But, if this whole thing come so fruition, I guess you can go ahead and pencil me in for Cortland Finnegan.

(Although... that could easily change to Zac Stacy... if he plays like I think he's capable of playing. )

Okay I will have the mods update the opening post (In the mean time, if not done already, I'll post the current selections) much like they did during the mock draft threads for those of you that read through those posts you'll know just what I'll mean but basically we just need to look no further than the OP for updates to the list.

Also just so everyone gets a shot at a player they wanted to select. I say we have 4 segments where we select a different player for that portion of the season. Much like retroram I will put up my Segment 1 choice either during game day or I just may put it up during the entire Segment. Anyway the way the Segments will work is we will select our player for each segment not selecting the same player twice.

Here is how the segments will be identified...

Segment 1 - Weeks 1-4
Segment 2 - Weeks 5-8
Segment 3 - Weeks 9-15
Segment 4 - Weeks 16-Superbowl

I will put up a thread similar to this one during the 2nd week of the current segment for the next segment. I think this allows for all to have their favorite player up for a while and honor other players they may want to chose.
