With the Heat beating the sorry Bucks in round one and beating a Bulls team missing 3 of its top 5 players, including its best player, was this one of the easiest first two rounds a team had to go through? Top 10 easiest? I didnt research because im lazy.

who knows... who honestly cares. part of winning a championship is avoiding the injury bug. let's be honest here... as good as Indiana an New York are.. do they honestly belong in top 4 teams in the NBA? Historically, would a team like Indiana have made it through those 90s Bulls/Knicks/Heat/Magic (with baby Shaq and Penny before knee issues)...

The east outside Miami is weak right now. Miami is the best tem in the league... but the next 3-5 top teams are the west. I will put it this way...
I would take Golden State in a series over the Pacers.

:wtf2:

Just because the Heat make it look easy doesn't mean that Indy is not a pretty awesome team. They are like Heat light but stronger down low. My Knick fan buddies were all licking their chops thinking that they were going to walk through to the Heat and take us to 7.

If the Heat hold serve in their first 2 games in the ECF, it will be a short 5 game series.

I can't see Miami who won 21 of their last 22 road games losing 2 consecutive games on the road.

It's not going to be the Knicks!! They don't have the heart to come back from 3-1!!

I wouldn't get to confident re: the Pacers. They will expose the same weaknesses that the Bulls did and they are not missing 3 of their best players!!

Not saying the Pacers win the series, but I don't think it will be a cakewalk!!

A 5 game series is not a cakewalk if the games are close. The Pacers offense is awful. The Heat are a much better defensive team than the Knicks and this team is struggling to reach 90 against the Knicks.

I'll stand by what I said. If the Heat win games 1 and 2 at home, it is going to be a short series. For Indiana to have a legit chance at the series going 6, they need to steal one of the games in Miami.

and then continue to steal games.

The Heat will show up to play against the Pacers, their layoff before the bulls was far too long.

Yep which is why we need the Pacers to close it out in 5 or 6. If it goes 7 the Heat will have yet another week off which we do not need right now.

True, but the Bulls had literally NO offense outside of Nate and they managed to steal a game, keep most games close and darn near stole another one tonight!!

Again, not saying the Pacers win, but I think this goes at least 6!!

Only way I see it going 6 is if they steal one of the first 2 in Miami. Miami is too great of a road team to lose 2 straight road games after going up 2-0 in a series.

I don't buy the "rust" excuse!! If the Heat had just blown the Bulls away in 4 games, then everyone would talk about how "well-rested" they were.

"Well-rested" and "rust" are like "veteran" teams vs. "old" teams. If an older team wins, they are veterans. If they lose, they are old!!

I think Miami loses at least 1 game at home.

Honestly have you not watched sports that long? What you did in the past does not matter, playoffs is a different animal. Just cause they won 21 of 22 doesnt mean it will continue

Also the nuggets were 38-3 at home, that means jack shit.

If you know anything about basketball you would know the Nuggets are not built for the playoffs.

In the playoffs to be successful you either need a star/superstar and you need to have a good defense. Denver had neither.

Also the Nuggets were a shitty road team this year so if they lose a game at home in the playoffs they're in trouble because it is not likely they can win on the road against a good team. Miami on the other hand are hands down the best road team in the league. Including the playoffs they're now 33-12 on the road while Denver went 19-25 on the road.

Stop trying to compare Miami with Denver...It makes you look silly

It doesn't mean it will continue but the chances of Miami who lost 1 road game since Feb 3rd to all of sudden lose every road game in a series is highly unlikely.

You don't go 33-12 on the road and win 21 of 22 on the road by mistake. Winning on the road in the NBA is a very hard thing to do. Teams are usually happy if they're able to play .500 ball on the road so for Miami to be 21 games over on the road this year is insane.

Never compared them but you just cant just assume it will be a cakewalk. Since this happened doesnt mean there cant be a upset. Upsets in sports happen all the time
