A torn meniscus shouldn't keep him out for the whole playoffs I don't think, depending on how far they go now. I guess it depends on the severity. That is a big blow to the Thunder.

Reggie Jackson will get all the time he so obviously wants now. I am curious to see how he handles the increased PT

Cheap shot by beverley. Russ had every reason to be pissed. Barkley was right, Russ should have knocked the hell out of him.

First off, it wasn't a dirty move, you see that play almost every game. NOW.........this is bad news for OKC fans, and bad news(somewhat) FOR.....MIAMI HEAT FANS. I'm not saying that Miami isn't still the odds on favorite, but OKC provided the easiest matchup amongst the top teams in the West, assuming Miami got to the Finals(don't sleep on NY). This opens up the door for many teams and also 1 team that I think Miami would rather not see if they got to the Finals and that's.....the Memphis Grizzlies. IF Memphis can get by LAC, I definitely have them eliminating OKC with no Russell Westbrook, where they would then slug it out with whoever's left on the other side of the bracket. IF Memphis could make it out of the West and possibly meet Miami, I'd still have Miami as the favorite, but it would not be easy AT ALL for them to beat Memphis.

This has potential to really change things up. He could be back in 2 weeks or he could be out 2 months. The injury really varies from person to person. They should still get past Houston without him but both LAC and Memphis could get past them in Round 2 if Westbrook doesn't play. He should call up Metta World Peace and ask him about that magic diet he used to come back from his torn meniscus.

I'm more curious as to how Durant reacts to now knowing he's basically the only go to guy and will receive a lot more pressure defensively.

Westbrook's never missed a game and it's going to feel very weird for Durant. See if he steps up to the challenge.

it wasn't a cheap shot or dirty play.

He made a basketball play for the ball. It happens all the time.

It was just unfortunate for the Thunder.

This is awful news for Miami because its ruins their 'best team ever' claims if they go 4-4-4 because there won't be D Rose, Rondo, or a full strength Thunder team. If they beat a team like the Clippers or Spurs, I dont think it will have the same effect

Damn, he will finally miss his first game ever, at any level.
