I have them 10-2 and co-winning the Big 12 in a 3-way tie with TCU/OSU.

I don't really follow too many teams but I see Lakers winning in 5 and Heat losing in 6.

Why keep up this charade?

The HEAT will make a run at greatness.

1. They will sweep the Bucks.

2. They would sweep New Jersey.
They would lose 1 game to the Bulls.

3. They would sweep Atlanta.
They would sweep Indiana.
They would sweep New York. Yes, this is the playoffs and the Heat defend the 3.
They would lose 1 game to Boston.


4. They sweep OKC (in their heads), GSW, Houston, Clippers, and Denver.
They lose 1 game to either San Antonio (Pop coaches 1 win), Memphis (big guys), or Lakers (big guys plus Stern wont allow it).

I have them lose THREE TOTAL GAMES at most. And several pathways to Fo, Fo, Fo, Fo-real.

I will root for more competitive series and glady be wrong....but I just dont see them being challenged.

The NBA is a little down & injured overall this season PLUS the Heat are much better than the previous two years.

There is no team (including my Spurs) that can realistically extend a series past 5 games versus Miami.

I added that I hoped I was wrong in my post as welll. I like competitive fun series not Fo-fo-Fo-Fo.

LOL Horns, you gotta know I'm just giving you a little grief for falling all over yourself with all that Heat love. I think the Heat are a very good team, they play great defense and that feeds into LeBron's hands. Dude is just so quick leaking out on the turnovers and loose ball opportunities to get those fast break slam dunks. I just don't see them running the table for some reason (Or something very close). It could happen but I wont go predicting it...

I don't see the Heat going undefeated either. However, I don't think they lose more than 6 games on route to their second title. 4 losses in the EC and then 2 losses in the Finals seems about right to me. Lebron is just way too good right now and this is the best Miami team so far of this 3 year superteam.

honestly SportsChic i agree with the assessment you made on the CBS boards with regard to play the Heat. you have to get in their grills. punk 'em out like when they played the Bulls last during the regular season. you saw what getting physical with them did. imo, it's your best chance of beating them. it's clear they don't like it, ESPECIALLY LeCrybaby. i'd say all the teams facing them should adopt that strategy...
