Here the $64,000 question:

When Kemp is ready in a week or so, who sits? Ethier or Crawford? They both bat left handed, but Crawford does hit significantly better against lefties than Ethier. I think I might just make that a case by case thing, depending on the pitcher (who hits better against pitcher X). Plus you can always give Kemp 1 day off a week down the stretch... we will have a ton of flexibility once everyone is healthy....

The Dodgers will have a rested powerhouse of a team in the playoffs...yes I said playoffs. D-Backs can't touch that...:nod::nod::nod::nod::nod::nod:

What a nice problem to have. And with September call-ups you can rest your starters and pen.

PS - You guys should start series threads.

It's a beautiful problem to have no doubt but let's hope when Kemp returns he finally stays on the field if we are going to go far we need him to be in the line up

I'd say Ethier rides the most bench of our 4 outfielders, he is just awful against LHP

I would really like to do that if other people would join in on talking about the games?

Los Angeles Dodgers ‏@Dodgers 16m
#Dodgers lineup in St. Louis:
Crawford LF
M Ellis 2B
Gonzalez 1B
Puig RF
Ethier CF
A Ellis C
Uribe 3B
Gordon SS
Ryu P #whiff

Good Lineup Tonight..

I wonder if Gordon has figured out a way to steal first base yet? If he even does, or, God forbid, starts to actually hit, we would have a talent on our hands.

Going up against yet another highly thought of young Cards pitcher tonight, so I am just hoping for the best, as young talented kids tend to have great early results, until teams start "getting a book" on them.

It's impressive to go into St. Louis and take 3 of 4. This team is really playing well. Except for the poor start, this edition of the Dodgers is starting to remind me of some of those teams in the 1970's.

The Dodgers are meeting every challenge of late. Let's see how they stack up against the Rays.

Well I started a Rays vs Dodgers series thread and hopefully others participate as I would love to see the Dodger page more active.

Yes, and while we're on the topic of contributing. Is there anyone who would consider making a new banner? If someone would like to contribute the time to do that I'd appreciate it, and I'm sure some other folks around here would too. I've seen other posters create banners for their respective team's page and with all due respect, Repko's a little played out lol. I'd do it myself but personally I'm not particularly too computer savvy.
