Aldridge is a joke. They keep hyping him and keep saying he is going to break out..dude has been in the league for like 7 years. He ain't going to get any better.

I think he's pretty good. He's a good PF in an year where there isn't a great one.

(Griffin, Aldridge, Love, Randolph, Lee, Bosh are roughly tied in the good but not great PFs.)

Aldridge doesn't rebound. He's not as good of an individual defender, but better as a team one.

He needs a shot blocker next to him.

He's not as good in the paint though as Lee, Bosh, or Randolph, or West, IMO.

Ok. The first part of my predicted road-road split will occur.

As I said, I don't think these teams should be trusted to win both games this close to each other, so that's why I had a 1-1 split (and a road variety).

Aldridge is decent. But they hype him around here as one of the greats and they keep talking about him like he's going to be even greater or we haven't seen his best yet.

I would take Randolph over him anyday. Of course, Randolph thrives once the Blazers get rid of him, story of this franchise. Trade or get rid of a player and they go dominate elsewhere.

he ain't clutch either. Every game I watch where it is on the line and they go through him for the game winner or tie he misses.

Also, fuck Wesley Matthews. Dude thinks he is WAY better than he really is. Countless times how many times i've seen him throw up bricks from all over the court.

How are you going to handle teams that live in the paint, like Memphis, Denver, or Atlanta?

I prefer Randolph's game myself.

I wanted to see a 3 headed monster of Randolph, Oden, and Aldridge, but Randolph was traded before he even got to play with Oden, then Oden couldn't stay healthy anyways.

I'm not big on Stotts, but I think Hickson's lack of IQ, especially on defense, doesn't give him much to work with.

That's the problem. And Millsap and its an issue to think about.

Lillard is a stud. I really like him. He is going to be something special. they gotta build around him.

I also like Stotts. I never liked McMillan. Stotts seems to be winning and competing with not much talent out there, or at least not much veteran players. Future in Portland is bright, but of course we have Paul Allen who loves to screw things up at the helm, so who knows.

But Lillard and then his back up Maynor seem legit. and Stotts looks like he could be good, granted, if he is given something and doesn't have the organization breathing down his neck on every move.

Personally i'd rather see a two PG lineup rather than having Wesley Matthews in there. what a joke that guy is.
