To be honest I expected the Chargers to make the playoffs. They made a big deall about signing Royal & Meachem. The defense was supposed to be improved. My biggest problem with the Chargers under Norv was they usually played down to their competition & didn't finish games. Last Sunday they had a 24-7 lead in the 4th quarter & won the game 24-21. When they beat Pittsburgh they gave up 14 points in the 4th quarter. I always expected the worst under Norv & he unfortunately he didn't disappoint.

Why have I not seen Jason Garrett's name on the list of fired coaches!? His play calling is predictable and horrendous. Gives up on the run way too easily (90% of his run plays are draws), Romo sucks but in his defense Garrett continuously puts him tough spots with his play calling, receivers have continued running the wrong routes, the o-line constantly takes false start penalties, there are just so many little things the Cowboys do wrong that well coached teams do not.

Jerry is too insecure to bring in a real head coach that can right the ship. Can't have any other alpha males threatening Jerry's position as top dog in Dallas.

Jerry has already become the next Al Davis. He's the GM. Davis was a mentor to Jerry when he came into the league.

Garrett doesn't want an offensive coordinator. The decision to bring Norv in will be Jerry's though. I'm so happy Norv & A.J. Smith are gone.
