So. Are VT and Notre Dame next?
That's all well and good for television revenue, and I completely agree that the B10 will significantly boost both UMD and Rutgers (especially as both are flagship state universities). What really hurts me as a CFB fan is the destruction of regional and long-standing rivalries; not many will remain in the coming years and it's really a shame.
Oh I completely agree. In five years I probably won't follow college football. I know they've already lost some of the "old school" fans in my family.

Now that's just crazy talk.......
I don't like all this superconference talks and an end to so many regional rivalries either, but no way would I ever stop following college football.....
Having my doubts now. Apparently ACC is courting Uconn to replace Maryland.
This may have been nothing more than the tv footprint.
The Big 10 just got harder!
The Big 10 just got harder!
UConn is in worse shape than Maryland.
The Big 10 just got harder!
Zip it!
ACC kurr more about bball than football.
Just saw that on the crawler on BTN......
Why Maryland???? :smh:
This is all recycled rumor bullshit, seriously. Stop it.
Maryland is not going unless it is with a package and th end of the ACC, and RUTGERS is not the catalyst of that.
Relax, for God's sake....
