We played Navy not Army. Also, as I've said many times, if that Stanford running back had scored it would have sent the game into another OT. Stanford would not magically have won the game...thankfully he didn't score so it doesn't matter. Plus ND had scored 13 of our 20 points in the 4 th quarter and OT, I would have liked our chances going into another OT session.

Typo my bad, but Navy sucks also

Not as bad as Army lol. Navy at least has won twice as many games as they've lost.

I'm not trying to pimp Bama's schedule, I am a Bama fan and I'm realistic. Our schedule has been pathetic compared to what it usually is. I'm just not sold on ND schedule has being as tough as proclaimed. Wins over Army, Purdue, Michigan, Michigan ST, Miami, BYU and Pittsburg (three of them by only 3 points) does not impress me at all.

As I see it ND has played two good teams, Stanford (they actually lost if the refs were not blind) and Oklahoma. Alabama has played one good team, LSU.

But, with Notre Dame i think part of the reason they are playing close games is because of their schedule. Purdue was a week before what was suppose to be a big game.Michigan State was suppose to be a big game - they blew them out - and then had another big game (which was closer). The BYU game was sandwiched between Stanford and Oklahoma.Pitt was the week after a big game.

Let down games and trap games usually play a role in college football.

Alabama hasnt had that this year. They just keep playing mediocre teams. Itll be interesting seeing how Bama does this week coming off their biggest game.

This concerns me.

Notre Dame hasn't played anyone. You people on SportsHoopla can't be that dense....

Agreed. Every team they play is going to beat them, and then when ND wins that team sucks. :juggle:

But if ND hasn't played anyone, who have the other three played that are so special? Keep in mind there are four teams behind ND that have all beat each other but won't drop for some reason. Oklahoma lost two games to better undefeated opponents and dropped out of the top 10 though...

Thats why I said I would take KSU schedule over ND. ND has some good ones, ksu just has more.

:rolleyes2: Name one team on ND's schedule that could hang with BAMA. I'll wait...

Considering the first good team 'Bama played hung with them, I bet Oklahoma and Stanford could. IT's not like teams hadn't been hanging with and beating LSU(Towson, Florida, Auburn).

Neither had two games gifted to them by refs

Well neither has ND, but just for argument sake, you can't say KSU has, and they've played a tougher schedule, why aren't they deserving?

They are less than impressive

And yes, ND has been gifted two games. No TD that was vs Stanford and two #2s on the field for easy win by Pitt on FG.

Pitt...

Yes, cause two number 2s made the kicker miss.

No wonder Ole Miss gave us a hard time. But back to the point. You really believe that Stanford could hang with BAMA? A shittier offense and a weaker defense?

Should we look at BAMA/ND's common opponents?

Michigan? Sure. Half of ND dominated the game, our offense is still a work in progress. I've never denied that, we should have won by more.

And I think Stanford's D could keep the score low enough to stay in the game. They couldn't score enough to win of course.

Stanford's D sucks. Oregon will put up at least 45 on them.
