UTVol, Georgia one spot above USC? I have no problem with us dropping due to the loss, but if you have us and UGA next to each other in the poll then we should be on top considering we smoked them. I can even see someone arguing to have them 5 slots ahead of us because we have 2 losses now. But if we're next to each other it just ain't right to put them on top.

Agreed. Georgia is a slightly better than average team, but should be at least several spots behind SCar. I thought about dropping Georgia in the 21-25 range this week, actually.

No you don't. They're not eligible to win anything in the bcs. The AP poll doesn't mean anything in the bcs era.

Maybe not but for the coaches to deny them the right to be ranked because of NCAA sanctions is hypocritical, because the coaches don't care for NCAA rules either. Just because they can't compete for the title doesn't mean they shouldn't get their recognition, after all they are being punished by the NCAA not the voting coaches.

Being worthy of a ranking and eligiable for a ranking two different things.. they may be worthy of ranking.. but are not eligable... therefore why rank them if they are not eligable?.....

Is tOSU a Top 25 team? Of course they are, but they broke the rules and as punishment they shouldn't be ranked. The only reason they are probably where they are now is because they broke the rules. They wouldn't have Meyer if they didn't and he's a hell of a lot better coach than Sweater Vest dude.
