Ok so the points are the only thing that matter? Well Florida almost got beat by Bowling Green and VT beat them 37-0 today....so does that mean VT is by far better than Florida? No it doesn't. When critiquing an offense/defense you use more than the scoreboard to do it. Just like you use more than one game.

if they could compete with the defenses they wouldve won. I do not care how many yards you gain.. or how well your offense performs.. if they do not put more points on the board to BEAT ___________(insert SEC TEAM HERE) they don't have crap.... eot/

I'm not saying that LSU or Alabama don't have great defenses. They do, the best in the country. They are 2 of the 4 or 5 best teams in the country right now. I don't dispute that either. I think that the rest of the SEC however is VASTLY VASTLY overrated.

I'll agree to this.

There is NOTHING special about the rest of the conference; most of the teams are average to below average, like every other conference out there. The SEC is top heavy, but top to bottom they aren't the best conference in football.
