Murphy's hitting out of the three hole now instead of young. That's a surprising move from wash. I think most of us would've expected him to put Young in there, but he gave Murphy a big vote of confidence there. Also tells me Wash may actually finally understand that Young's bat has no business in the three hole.

Also wash says Profar will play Friday and Sarurday.

I've seen enough of his defense to know its better than MY's. Though that's not saying much.

okay understand now. no i have always thought MY was more of a bottom third of the order hitter and if Wash insist on using him 5 or more times a week next season i would have him at the bottom of the order

Nelly is really looking like he did before the playoffs last year... just not in sync at all at the plate. He misses and fouls off a bunch of pitches thrown right down the middle. Hopefully he catches fire in time just like he did last year.

I think Soto will be fine. While a Napoli like streak would be great I'll be happy if he hits .250 and draws a few walks.
