Yea ... but you can't develop a third pitch going one inning at time.
He's had ST and over half a season to do so, and never did

The Rangers are 4-12 in their last 16 games there and have lost 7 straight. Probably enough bad history to keep the entire 25 man roster out of NYC.
Nobody answered my previous post. Is this the first time we have been shut out this season? I can't remember another time.

We got shut out by Seattle 7-0. King felix
i completely agree, i was listening to GAC on espn radio and they brought up the point that if wash pulls MY out of the everday lineup he might lose the clubhouse. i would hope that the team would understand that this would make their lineup, and defense, much better and wouldnt bitch about it. then they interviewed murph and he made it sound like the club would bitch if this ever happened
Thanks Fan.

Everyone was in love with the idea of putting Feliz (who has the same problem) in the rotation ... so bet nobody worried about Ogando's third pitch so wasn't working with him to develop it.
All that all star pitching talent in management and ownership spends its time talking with each other ... or gagaing over prospects.
Well, there you go. These guys just aren't very bright. Talented, but dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to smart baseball. And this what the manager has guided to first place for most of the year. Amazing.
I remember being shutout in Oakland a couple of months ago but don't remember the Date. Batola Colon I think Pitched against the Rangers that night.
"they brought up the point that if wash pulls MY out of the everday lineup he might lose the clubhouse."
That's a load of crap. If the "clubhouse" thinks that MY is performing effectively ... then they are definitely a bunch of dumb ball players.
Its like only 314 feet down the rightfield side
True. You had the same reaction I did. Murphy is defensive because he knows that if Wash pulls MY ... he'll pull Murphy too.
Which is exactly why post season HFA is so important. Yankee Stadium right field is much closer to home than right field is at RBIA.
But Rangers Ballpark is also Great for lefthanded Power Hitters. Right Center or Right Field is the Best. Swisher and Tex wouldn't do anything different in Arlington. The real Prooblem was that Kuroda was just lights out. If the Rangers had hit like they normally do Harrison would have come up a Winner. That's Baseball.
Thats what I figure we were not going to beat Kuroda. What frustrated me the most is that Wash should have either stayed with Harry to face Swisher whom he owned all nite or go to Ross to keep Swisher batting from his weaker side. Ogando has just been horrible at Yankee Stadium.
I usually dont vent like this but this game really frustrated me more than other losses in the past. I gained so much respect for Harry the way he battled tonite and felt bad for him. This one hurt
It sounded like he would bitch. It sounded like the way he got defensive there may already be a bit of a riff in the clubhouse about it. My guess is there are some who think he should see a reduction in playing time.
Losing the Close ones always hurt. But the Rangers did beat Kuroda back in April at the Park. But He wasn't Lights out that night like Tonights Game.
