Top 5 consistent programs recently (that are not your own)

I am speaking in terms of the last 5-10 years or so. The most consistent teams that find themselves in the drivers seat a lot of the time.

1. Boise State- Most recently they only lose one game a year and blow out all other opponents they face. Are in the discussion for a BCS bowl yearly despite having no BCS ties. Can't deny this is a very comsistent program.

2. Alabama- Hate them, but have to look at the facts. Since Saban has taken over they are in the battle for the SEC title yearly and have won the NCG twice in the past 3 years.

3. Oklahoma- Has had control of the Big 12 recently and is the avorite headed into the year nearly every year. Make it to the BCS nearly every year and lose pretty much every year, so very consistent.

4. Ohio State- Pretty much a carbon copy of Oklahoma. Favorites nearly every year, win the conference most years, have grown use to losing BCS games.

5. USC- Yes 3 of the past 4 seasons were mediocre, but they turned things around while on probation. A team that before probation punched its ticket to the BCS for 6 straight seasons I believe. Only reason they are this low is the probation has held them back.

If you are listing teams by consistency over the last 5-10 years, you have to include Virginia Tech...and VT would have to be towards the top.

Also I cant understand why people think LSU and/or Alabama have been more consistent than USC over the past 10 years.

Texas was pretty consistant until the last two years.

Sanctions didnt hurt us, Shitty Recruiting by a coach who no longer cared killed us in 2010 and 2011. Lane Kiffins first recruiting class filled Sooooooo many holes. We had ZERO LBs, ZERO WRs. Now we have the best WR corp in the Nation and probably the best LB corp in the Nation, All are Sophomores or younger...

My first thought was actually Nebraska as well. Four straight years with the same number of losses is pretty consistent. The only team that has them beat is VA Tech.
