not true. there is no requirement to escalate discipline. you take history into account, but there's nothing to say you have to go from fine to suspension the next time.

Well, apparently I'm a jinx for the Caps for this series. Watched games 1 & 3, was unable to watch game 2 due to a prior engagement and did not watch today just to test my theory out.

I dont think that the OV hit was a headshot or anything but he did leave his feet. I do not think it is suspension worthy but I also would not be surprised if he got a game due to being a repeat offender.
