you can't be serious....

This is a team that RISP FAILS so much against sub-.500 teams, it's a trademark for us; no one else should be able to do that without our expressed written consent.

And we're taking the CLEVELAND SERIES?!

Yeah, I was really surprised to see that after five or six straight innings of nothing ball

A win is a win and we need a bunch of them because Houston is on a roll
Yes, once again this was more or less the same game we've seen played out through this bad spell. Couple of runs early then silent bats, bad approaches, bad execution, stranding runners, bullpen giving up a lead.

This time they managed to mount the comeback win. Something entirely absent for weeks now.

We still aren't seeing a team that can sustain wins.

This team is going to go on a run aren’t they? Everyone gives up on them then they do well. When everyone is excited they go in a funk.

Well, Polanco (DH) seems to shaking off the funk he was in for six weeks and Julio (CF)is hitting better. Pitchers are still making an ass out of him on low, outside breaking pitches but he is hitting hittable pitches better now....finally. The BA is over the .250 mark which you have a right to expect for a guy signed to a lifetime contract. JP (SS) is thriving in the leadoff role. Williamson (3B) and Young (2B) are starting to hit. So, maybe this collective group of numbnuts can be counted on the bring some offense. Cal (C) is dominant. Maybe.

First base (1B), Left Field (LF), and Right Field (RF) are still black holes. Right field with ARoz...good OBP but it isn't producing many runs. I don't believe in Calzone, in LF or RF until he can show me something for a sustained period of time. Raley or Dylan Moore in the other corner? Meh. Moore hasn't done much in weeks while his slash has dropped like a rock in water.

Hancock has given up 2 or less runs his last 3 starts and all were a loss.

He's not had any run support. Like at all.

In his last 5 starts he's given up 3 runs once in a 6 inning game the M's won at Houston.

Even after a sweep they are 4 - 6 in their last 10 because they've sucked that badly.

So is Hancock firmly the 5 for this rotation? He’s really only had 1 bad outing

He has earned it.
That’s what I think too. But it seems he’ll or high water they want Miller to pitch. To me he earned to either stay in the rotation or force them into a 6 man rotation…which I’m still not sold on cause I don’t think the analytics guys would ever agree to let them pitch 120 plus.

I think we both know the Mariners will make the right decision. They always do...
